Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actor who has been recognized for her talents. Sagittarius. She was born at the age of 3 in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's one of the three oldest children to Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a paratrooper. Her parents are English, Scottish and of mixed descent. Her father was a professional who frequently moved the family. She had a difficult time making and keeping acquaintances. Moore started acting in plays at Frankfurt American High School when her family relocated to Germany. Following the completion of her B.F.A. in Theater at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to seek further training. In 1983 she graduated with an B.F.A. Moore started her theater career off-Broadway in New York, after she completed her degree. Moore made her debut on screen in 1985 when she appeared on an episode from The Edge of Night. In 1986, she played the dual characters in the show of Sabrina Hughes (Frannnie) and Frannie Hughes (Sabrina Hughes). The show became her biggest breakthrough. She stayed on this show from 1988 to 1990 and was honored with a Daytime Emmy Award. She made her film debut in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that she later described as a shambles low-budget production. Short Cuts (1997) and 3 Women (1993), each Robert Altman productions, were her first film. The critically acclaimed performance of her in Short Cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore played her first big role in Safe in 1995, a movie. In 1997 the actress career reached a turning point as Steven Spielberg cast her to play the lead role in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was the highest grossing film of 1997. The year 1999 was the first time she was awarded an SAG award for her role in Magnolia. The Hours, a 2002 film in which she co-starred with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep received nominations for nine Academy Awards. Moore was also in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop aired in the year 2014. Moore has appeared in countless movies and TV series. Moore has appeared in a number of TV and film series. The most recent role she played was when You Finish Save the World 2022. She has made her mark as a star in Hollywood and also as an author for children. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and became a N.Y.T. Bestseller. The book was adapted into series and a music. In 2013, Moore published My Mother Is a Stranger. Moore has a public life as a well-known actor and a novelist. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich, whom Moore then married in 2003 is a father of two with Moore. Moore's primary focus is on her friends, family as well as her career.
